USS Missouri
Step onto what was once one of the most powerful warships in the US Navy. Once a grand ship that served her country well. She has had tours of duty during World War II. Given raise to her notability as the site of the Japanese formal surrendered, marking the end of World War II, on Sept 02 1945 in Tokyo Bay. She also proudly served in Korea before being decommissions on Feb 26 1955 . Recommissioned on May 10 1986, she later served during Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf.

Now a floating museum docked on Fort Island at Pearl Harbor, the ship is being meticulously restored by the USS Missouri Memorial Association. The areas of the ship are being restored to highlight the different eras in which this ship served. Step into history. Step onto the USS Missouri.

The USS Arizona Memorial

The USS Arizona Memorial attracts thousands visitors a day and it's one of the most famous tourist spots in Hawaii. Take a boat ride courtesy of the U.S. Navy and pay tribute to our nations fallen heroes.

Tickets are given out on a first come basis and there are only a limited amount of tickets given out each day. So if you go, try an arrive early. By early, I mean before 8:30am. This will ensure you of a ticket and make the wait to go over to the Memorial short. If you end up with a wait longer than 3 hours, it is a good opportunity to see the USS Missouri or the Blowfin  Submarine.

Because of security concerns you will not be allowed to bring into the memorial any backpacks, purses, or other bags. Each time I have been, they did allow my camera bag, but don't count on it.
